Tough tough decision.
I've got my eyes on 5 Delta's and I can't figure out which one to get. These will be in the order that I like them:
1st = 1971 Delta 88: http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/...8/1293300.html
I'd have to take a bus there and drive it back.
2nd = http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/2574564220.html
This one is close (about an hour).
3rd = http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/2558550626.html
Closer even still (20 minutes)
4th = http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/2550458904.html
Right next to my city. Probably 10 minutes.
5th = http://cleveland.craigslist.org/cto/2525760552.html
A little further but still within an hours drive.
My father had a #1 except a 4 door. Excellent car and the 455 ripped like none other.
The 70 is nice too, I just can't decide. If I want to enhance the performance I was looking over the FAQ and the older ones had more nickel in the blocks, so that would exclude the 75 and 76, but they are such nice looking cruisers...arrggggg Personally, for sanity sakes, as long as no one buys it before me, I'll probably go with the 73. It's got the Gold 350 and the lower miles.
One the flip side there is this:

But I'm sick and tired of dealing with tires for 14" wheels (I have a 70 Cougar with 14" wheels. Tires cost $100+ EACH)

Don't even TRY to kid yourself......none of those are fast.
#1 Those picture exposures suck so bad, I'd ask for better one's.
#2. Not too bad.
#3. Brown .....not a fan. 1977 the peak of pig emissions choked motors.
#4. Doable, never seen winter.
#5. Looks clean and very nice. I'd ask for shots of the engine bay.
When I see someone posts a pic of the rear seat, that tells me the front seats are probably bad.
Between them all I'd say #5 is the best looking probably.
#4 is probably the best condition having never seen winter.
#2 is alright. The other 2 I'd vote no.

don't worry about the 'more nickle" get the car you will enjoy the most, those cars feel quick but even a 442 from that era aren't all that fast - enjoy it
