ID Help needed
Hello all, just got a 72 Cutlass Supreme and need help ID'ing the heads on the motor as I need to get new Exhaust gaskets. I did a lot of research and finally found out that the Block is a 1972 Pontiac 400, but the heads are Olds I believe. There are numbers on them, G62J and M62D they are bronze in color, but that could be a pain job. If someone can help that would be great. The car needs work, but will be drive able once the exhaust is fixed and some of the wiring is fixed. But that is a later project.
Thanks

I don't think that is possible.
Here's a site for decoding Pontiac head numbers.

I am new to the car stuff. But that is what it is looking like. Here are some photos I have taken. If you want a different angle let me know, but photos are kinda hard with all the stuff in the way.
Thanks for all your help so far.

When I bought my 69 it had a 455 Pontiac engine in it. The guy left the Olds frame mounts in place, took the Olds engine mounts, and elongated the bolt holes to match the Pontiac engine. I had a lot to learn about anything automotive, and even more about Oldsmobile in particular. The guy told me it had a 455, (I told my dad it was a 350 😎 I didn’t question him. Imagine my surprise when every part I tried to buy for the engine was wrong. The counter guy finally decided to look at the engine, turns out he was a Pontiac guy and knew exactly what it was. I was happy it ran, and would absolutely destroy the rear tires. He also told me it posi-trac, I couldn’t wait to find out if that was true. Of course, it didn’t take much engine to smoke the girly-man 205/70/14 tires that were on it.
