Wiper Blades

This will be the first time I have had to do wipers on a car this old. The 1970 Cutlass needs replacements, but it really just needs refills. I am not sure how to remove the whole blade assembly if there are replacements anyway.
I can't seem to find refills only.
What does everyone do?

You can still get refills sometimes locally at the parts store, or the some of the on -line places tool.

I buy from Rock Auto. Bulk purchase to make the shipping cost worth it. I buy longer than I need, remove the rubber inserts, cut to desired length, and insert into the metal part of the existing refill.

I bought these replacements for my '72 442 convertible. They are not just refills, but include the metal assembly that holds the wiper blade.

Years ago I bought Trico 43-160 which are 16” refills with twin steel rails. I just find something in the 43 series with the lowest price and use the rubber inserts in my 16” rails.
The Trico 43-220 are the 22” version and are currently $2.27 a pair.
