Top Post or Side Post Battery

My car is a 70 W30 built December 69. Should I have a top or side post battery?

Thanks

The '70 Chassis Service Manual shows all 1970 Oldsmobiles had top-post batteries. I thinks side-post batteries first came into use in 1972.

Thank you. I found the section in my Chassis Service Manual but the page that would show it clearly in my CSM is defected...of course
