Hello all. I hope everyone is well, Just had a question if that's okay, I'm trying to find a replacement air filter for my 58 Oldsmobile, The one i have is a Purolator AFP-20, would anyone know the equivalent, replacement if possible? Many Thanks , Ray.

 

The original GM part number was 1553777. I've tried searching that with little success. That Purolator number crosses to Fram AF401, which has been replaced by Fram CA327. The CA327 is 9.880" in diameter and 2.499" tall. What are the dimensions of your current element?

 

Fram CA327 crosses to a Wix 42101. Don't waste your money on a Fram filter.

 

Agreed, however I would still verify dimensions first. Many of these cross references are not always correct.

Hello , sorry for taking so long to get back with info, The filter is 12 1/2 inches from outside to outside , centre, 9 3/4 inches inside to inside , centre, and 2 3/4 inches high. Many thanks.
