Removal

I have a 1965 Starfire and I need to remove the ventilation control unit and can not figure out how to do it, also I need to remove the drivers side vent from the dash, removed the bottom screw but still can't get it off, it appears to be hanging up on the top, none of my manuals reference removing these items, hopefully you do not have to remove the whole dash.

Helps to have small hands. There are I think three screws holding the control head in. You'll have to remove the A/C duct and taking the glovebox out may make it easier access. 1/4 drive extensions and u-joints as needed to get in there.

I've had those dash outlets out on a 66 years ago but I can't remember how I did it.

Dash vents have small studs with nuts on back at 11:00 and 1:00 o'clock positions.
Have fun!!
