Q-Jet Auto Choke Install Question

Just finished bolting up my rebuilt Q-Jet on my 66 Olds Toronado and I think I messed up on the Auto Choke Install, can anyone tell from this PIC?\not sure why there is a wire behind this screw either?

This is a PIC before I removed from the car I noticed the primary flap is closed now its open after reinstall?

The rod coming out of the manifold choke well is not hooked up correctly, compare the two bottom pictures and you will see it......

Yes and No, I connected the rod the CORRECT way but the choke still isn't working when I hit the throttle wide open the Auto-Choke isn't activating. I started a new thread with PIC's and VID's here
