p.s. belt length?
I am swapping my 65cutlass 330 non ac car from a manual steering to power steering. Does anyone know how long the belt should be? Also does it just go around the crank and p.s. pump or does it need a 2 groove pulley for the water pump where belt would go around water pump crank and p.s. ? Thanks Rick

Unfortunately, Dayco lists three different belt lengths, all for PS without A/C:
P/N 15595 at 59.5"
P/N 15605 at 60.5"
P/N 15620 at 62.0"
Note the clever correlation of part number to length.
Gates only lists one, P/N 7957, at 60 1/8"
Goodyear also lists only one, P/N 13595 at (yes, you guessed it) 59.5"
Frankly, there's probably enough adjustment that 59.5, 60.125, and 60.5 will all work. I'm betting the 62" version is for the BBO and incorrectly listed under the 330 applications.

Thanks Joe. I found a belt that will fit. Now I need a pit man arm for a p.s. car with a stud size of .485 with 32 splines with a diameter of 1.25. I will place a wanted ad later. Thanks again Rick
