Question Exhaust tip length

I was looking to add some Maganflow stainless slash tips to my exhaust. I was thinking of ordering the tips and welding them myself. I say 2 lengths offfered for the one I want 18" and 22". Anyone know what length is usually used for this?

As many times as i've been to the exhaust shop you'd think i'd be an expert on this one.It shouldn't be hard to get the measurement for it though.Take your measuring tape and decide the length from where you're going to cut to where you want it to stop.
If you're still not sure exhaust shops usually give you free estimates and they have pipes already available for a mock up.

18 and 22 inches is too short. What you need is side pipes.

Truthfully, Projethaven hit the nail on the head. Just measure and decide what you want.
