Oldsmobile Trunk Letters

I bought my 71 Supreme and it did not come with any "OLDSMOBILE" letters on the trunklid and I have determined that I am supposed to have them. (Someone had replaced the original trunklid somewhere down the line) Does anyone have a template of the exact location of each letter or do you know where I can get one? Thanks.

I thought it might be in the Assembly Manual, but it doesn't show the detail you're looking for. Suggest you contact Patton Glade (70Post). He has lots of details about restoring these cars that may help. Sorry I can't do more.

The reason it is not in the assembly manual is that Fisher body already install them before the body was sent to the Oldsmobile assembly plant.

I have the letters for sale but don't have a template. $50 for the letters.

This thread is over 6 years old and I'm positive Darrell has it done.
The letters aren't C U T L A S S. They are O L D S M O B I L E, like this:

You're funny. My membership cost me my right eye....
It is always a good idea to check the last activity on a thread though.
