Putting a 455 in my 68 Cutlass tomorrow and before I stick it in there and then have to pull it out again can somebody tell me do I mount the motormounts in the forward position on the block or the rear position?

 

Rear position.

 

The forward position is only used on the 1964-70 full size cars and the 1973-74 Omegas. All others use the rear.
