installing reproduction red inner fenders for a 71 442 on a 72 supreme

I know this is not in any way correct, but i have the chance to purchase a repro set of red inner fenders produced by the parts place for a very good price. i wanted to install them on my 72 supreme, because i think they look good (simple as that)! will they fit???
thanks!

The newest ones fit pretty good, but you may still need to pursuade them with a heat gun for them to sit right once installed.

Oldssupreme,

I have them on my 72' !! I know it's not correct also, but it's the first thing most people ask about when I show them the engine. To non-olds people, it gives you a chance to explain what W-30 means. So it's more or less a conversation piece.

Oh....it also looks cool too

Wow jimmy b,
Your engine bay is beautiful! Dd you have any issues fitting the repro red inner fenders, or are they original?
Thanks for the pics!
