W30 red inner Fenders?

I noticed when looking at pictures og concourse restorations of 1970 W30 cars that the A arm seals were missing. These are the flaps that were stapled to the inner fenders to keep the water out of the engine compartment. I bought a set of red ones from the parts place and I have a set of flaps but I dont know if this was correct? Any Ideas?

W-30s have A arm seals just like the regular black fender wells.
