68 442 fuel pump question

Does anyone have a recommended source for the correct mechanical fuel pump for a 1968 442? I will need a model with three ports on the top of the pump.

I have managed to buy the wrong pump and would like advice on a source to purchase the correct pump.

Thanks for any help.

When you say "correct" do you mean "concourse restoration correct" or simply functionally correct? Rockauto (and most parts stores) sell a functionally correct three-port mechanical pump. Here's Airtex P/N 40523:

Thank you, Joe.

I purchased one from the Parts Bin that looks identical to what I removed. I am hoping it will work.

When it comes to fuel pumps, try to get one that can handle modern gasoline. I've come to the conclusion it is utterly stupid to pay megabucks for an NOS pump when the odds are pretty good it will self destruct as soon as modern gasoline hits the diaphram.

It took me a little while to install, but the fuel pump from the Parts Bin looked exactly like the pump I removed and seems to be working perfectly. I did not have to rebend the fuel line, for which I am very grateful.
The only concern was that the pump was labeled as for a 455 engine in '68. My engine is a 400.
