57 Olds J2 VIN

In order to get correct dated carb tags, can anyone tell me the build date of '57 Olds J2 VIN #579L05109??

No VIN will give the build date. The body tag would give the month and week the body was built. Did '57s have body tags? That wouldn't help with the engine, though. It is probably not possible to pinpoint the build date of the engine down to the day or at all unless there is some kind of date code in any of the numbers stamped on the engine. But I wouldn't expect that.

on the rear end of the engine the arrow that point to the dips is the mounth of production
