Can anyone identify this power trunk?
I Just found this in a box tonight and trying to figure out what it fits. Can anyone identify them. I thought it was for Oldsmobile because it came from the barn find and he had almost only Oldsmobile stuff. I looked at pictures on ebay for over a half hour and can not find anything close.
I don't believe power, as in power, trunk started until 68. That looks to be a power solenoid. Vacuum trunk release, on the other hand, was around in the 50s until it got replaced by power.
I do know the 67 A body had vacuum trunk release, and it went power soon after (maybe 68.)

Not sure what car this might go to tho.....
my 68 Olds has vacuum powered trunk release.
The electric one looks to me like mid 70's to maybe G-body type.
I have ONE system in my stash from a 64? Buick? - get this - it's vacuum operated, but not ENGINE vacuum. In the glovebox was a big ****. You pull on that **** and it is attached to a large piston about 2-3" diameter, which creates the vacuum which is routed to the trunk actuator.
