Underbody Coating

Underbody Coating
Has anyone out there thought about or actually applied a Bedliner product to the underside of their body? I have been thinking about it for more of extra protection and sound deadening. My 442 body is ecoated. I am not sure if I would need to do another prep prior to application. Will gravity keep it from sticking if I lie on the floor to apply? It is on a body cart and I don't have access to a rotisserie.
Any thoughts?

Your project looks like it is coming along nice. It will for sure look great. I assume the rock it spray gun worked well while on your back. Did you spray at on angle or perpidicular to the floor pan? I can't get my body that high and will be 2-1/2' off the round since it is sitting on body cart. Yes, I have confirmed that I can fit between the rails of the cart to get right under the body.

I sprayed mostly at an angle. 2 1/2' should be enough room. You would need to practice on a piece of cardboard to get the right texture. Buy the kit, and the gun comes with it. The 4qts plus one activator should just be enough to do your car. Just make sure your compressor blows dry air....
