Heater Core Failure

It had to happend sooner or later. Yesterday while driving the Cutlass home from getting some new duals and Flowmasters I notice my windows were foggy and my defrost wasnt working. Then my worst fears came to reality, Anti-Freeze was running down on my passenger side floor mat. I immedieatly knew what it was and upon further inspection, it was confirmed, Leaking heater core. I will be bypassing it untill I feel up to that kind of job which might turn out to be a while. It does'nt get that cold down here in Houston Texas.

Bummer. Hope you got it cleaned up well.
Looks like you and I will be doing this about the same time. Mine is bypassed, too, after I found the nipples were crushed by a bad repair long ago and will not seal anymore.

Wanna go first??

I did mine a few months ago. It wasn't near as bad as I had anticipated... quite a bit of room to work down there. Took me most of a day, taking my time... and I'm certainly no "master tech".
Bought my heater core here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/VistaPro-Pro...ht_2505wt_1396
Had it in 3 days!
Used instructions from here: http://wildaboutcarsonline.com/cgi-b...=9960340732039
I say go for it!
