Not even a real 442 This guy has lost his marbles. Note the asterisk by the W-30* listing

IT HAS A TOP ECONOMY W-27 TURNPIKE CRUISER REAR END WITH 2.56 TO 1 AXEL RATIO (drops to 2.00 w/Gear Vendor O.D.).

The W-27 aluminum axle carrier came in nothing less than 3.42:1 unless of course he just has a cover over his turnpike cruiser rearend.

THIS W-27 IS CRYOGENICALLY HEAT TREATED WITH A LIFETIME MONDELLO WARRANTY AND HAS POSI-TRACTION.

Ok so what good is a 2.56:1 with a posi? Even with 365+ horsepower it would take it 1/2 mile to get to speed, even then the top end should be over 150 MPH but it would take it a country mile to reach those speeds.

I have to agree with GAoldsman again, that car would have to be a totally correct 442 to bring that kind of money. Last year at Mecum a beautifully correct 72 442 got up to 70k and did'nt sell.

Ya think?? uh huh X2

At least he can spell. Most of the evilbay auctions like this are full of typos. In this case it's just full of misdirection. Fluff, smoke and mirrors like:
IT IS IN IMMACULATE EXCELLENT CONDITION EXCEPT FOR A FEW PARKING LOT DINGS.
ummm, immaculate excellent means what again????
IT HAS 27,000 MILES SINCE THE FRAME-OFF RESTORATION ( 2002).
So, that would be how many miles in total??
IT HAS A 455 CUBIC INCH, 365 HORSE POWER ROCKET ENGINE, ....IT HAS A TURBO HYDRO-MATIC 400 TRANSMISSION
Well if it has the 455, it had to have at least a TH400. Would be really more cool to have a 4 speed
IT COMES WITH AN ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL AND FULL 48 PAGE SALES BROCHURE.
I would hope it comes with the owners manual. But sales docs, protecto plate, build sheet, broadcast sheet, window sticker etc would be better than the '48 page ad brochure'.
IT HAS A 20 GALLON FUEL TANK.
Because we all know these cars don't run on air????
THERE IS NOTHING LEFT TO RESTORE ON THIS CAR AND IT RUNS LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL.
Well nothing to restore unless you want to 'restore it' properly. So I'm going to run like a bat out of hell away from it.

No---W-27s were available with 3.23 gears as well.
