Car's spotted on Rt66 cruise

Did a short Rt 66 cruise Saturday, few cool cars spotted along the way....

Cool. There are going to be 3,000 of them in Tulsa at the end of this month for the 5.5 mile parade for the 100th anniversary of Route 66. My wife's 95 Cutlass Supreme convertible will be one of them.

My employer appreciated you thinking a 25 year old example of our minivan is cool. (I know you meant the 50s chopped and dropped across the street.)

Perhaps I was referring to the newer Impala in the foreground?

That black and silver 57 is nice. In my opinion they make the coolest hot rod!

Every beginning of May there is a Red Carpet Corridor celebration, think it's the first 100 miles of Rt 66, basically many events from Joliet down to Bloomington/Normal.
Had a good turnout coinciding with the 100th anniversarry.

Me and a couple friends were wanting to participate but the registration said 1996 and older. We didn't want to drive all that way and have to park miles away and not get to cruise.
