Engine code oil tube decal

I see that this decal has been discussed before regarding the print color being red or black with the consensus that black is correct. However there is another choice for the black decal. The part number seems to come in 2 flavors. As an example for a 72 455 W30 engine, the black UO decal part number can be either 410493 (as indicated in the assembly manual) or 408686. I need a new one and want to get the correct version. By the way, the one on there now has the 408686. This was put on back in 92.

As you stated this information can be found in the Oldsmobile Product Information Manual (PIM)
Code 408686 does not exist in 1972 PIM. It is listed in the 1971 PIM for a 350 2BBL automatic w/AC. Engine code "QJ".

Code 410493 is listed in the 1972 PIM. It is listed 455 A-Body L-77 engine (W-30) with an automatic trans. Engine code "UO".
