Ceramic coating a new paint job

I did some searching on here and was a bit surprised to find very little.

So my car got painted in June and it approaching the 3 month mark that my paint guy said to wait before doing anything.
Im holding off on putting the chrome on with the thought of getting a professional ceramic coating job done with no impediments.

Any one have a thought about ceramic coating a new paint job?

I don't see any issues with you doing the ceramic at this point. I just painted my wife's C10 and had it wet sanded, buffed, and professional ceramic about a month afterwards.

If paint was catalyzed, you are more than safe to coat it.

Ceramic coating products you get at the local auto parts store are just snake oil. Is there another product I'm unaware of available from paint manufacturers? Did you spray your car in single stage or base coat/clear coat?

I never used any ceramic coating products on the single stage paint I spayed my 71 98 with and it looks pretty good IMHO.

I checked with a Refinish colleague from my PPG days, and they do have a ceramic coating, to be used in place of conventional 2k clearcoat.
