Pulleys and AC question
Pulleys and AC question
Trying to accumulate parts to install AC on my 67. My engine is a 70 model with alternator bracket and PS bracket from a 70. My water pump is the 5.125" and I'm going to add a 1/2" spacer to make it 5.625". Is this the correct crank pulley from PartsPlace that I need. I hate to buy the wrong parts from them.

I would strongly suggest that you get the correct 1967 brackets and pulleys. If you have your heart set on using what you have, then at least get a correct 5.6" water pump. The whole point of the longer pump is to increase the "wheelbase" between the bearings to handle the belt side load. Putting a spacer between the pump hub and the pulley increases the load on the bearings. Think of it as putting in wheel spacers.

Does the KC crank pulley and KK water pump pulley sound right to you?
