72 Cutlass Supreme value , needs restoration .

Just curious because I just can't seem to get an idea what a ballpark figure would be on this car . It's not original as far as the drive train is concerned . It needs sheet metal work - rear quarters , roof , fender patches , and some floor pan areas . Good points - It has a 455 from a 68 Toronado ( somewhat fresh rebuild ) and will have a rebuilt transmission installed next summer and the frame is solid .

I am not sure what the question is but it honestly sounds like you need to find another car. If it requires that much sheet metal work, you really don't have much of a body with that car.

it needs sheet metal work , not complete replacement . Ill post some pictures
With all due respect .... I see a lot of project cars bought on here that need work , so you mean a 50 year old car is a parts car because it needs some sheet metal work ?

Probably $3-5k with all the work needed.

That's around what I figured . It's probably closer to the lower end of that figure . I wish I never had to move it from the parking garage I had it in for all those years . That's when everything started going down hill . I have a cover for it at least to keep all the leaves off it.

I think that's a decent number....

Certainly not all that bad honestly.

QUESTIONS:
(1) AC? If so, factory?
(2) Electric Windows?
(3) Electric Door Locks?
(4) Floor pans - good shape?
(5) Which transmission is currently in the car? TH350/TH400?

Intact dashboard which isn't trashed is a positive. Fresh 455 rebuild another positive. Solid frame is a positive.

The car came with AC but took all that out when I installed the 455 . Manual windows and locks . Floor needs repair on drivers side area . The car had a T350 that was from speed shop , but the torque converter ground splines off of shaft . I was going to put a different transmission in next summer hopefully
