I know this is a dumb question, but does anyone know how to adapt the throttle rod linkage to angle up to a tunnel ram? I'm ok with going with a cable as I'm buying (pic)
but I don't want to replace the pedal assembly.
Stupid question time: how you gonna be OK switching the part you see readily versus not wanting to switch the part that's hard to see?
Those brackets are universal junk- don't pay more than $15-20 for it. They're all basically the same, and Summit charges $60. Make sure it will clear anything that will be close (my air cleaner base wouldn't work). I have a black one I'll send you if you want it.
I just put the Lokar pedal in. I really can't say enough good things about it. It's expensive, but worth it in weight savings alone.

from my understanding, that bracket hooks up to the carb and you just need to connect the rear to the throttle linkage for it to work? I guess I'm just looking for the cheapest and easiest method to do this since the budget is getting tight, and I want to have it all done before February. I'm not opposed to using a coat hanger and bending it if that's what I need to do lol
That bracket goes to 2 studs/bolts, provides a return spring(s), and secures the cable sheath (not provided). You can use bicycle cable as a cheap alternative, but you need a pedal for a cable. My 67 had linkage, and I couldn't figure out an acceptable (to me) way to make it pull a cable. That's why I gutted the factory, and installed the Lokar.

Do you have a link for the exact one you got? And did you have to do any modifications to make it work or was it a direct bolt in?
