I rolled in around 2:30. Did a few rows after they let me in for free. I’ll be there all day tomorrow.
Was Bob the only dedicated Olds vendor? (He’s the guy with the red vert)
Great weather, wish I brought shorts!

A lot of people were wearing shorts. At sunrise, the temps were already in the low 60s.

Just a tip to bypass the long ticket lines. You can download your ticket online and store it in your Apple Wallet. They scan these in a separate, short line. We were inside by 7:50 a.m. Arrive by 7:15 a.m. due to the long lines of cars trying to turn into the speedway parking lots.

I wonder if that's the prop car the owner bought and actually put a turbine engine in it.

Edit: guess not, this is different. https://www.thedrive.com/news/30698/...egal-batmobile

Turkey Run is a great show, I went a couple times with my father and his recently departed friend Jim Mumma in Jim's pink 56 New Yorker.

That's the one. He was a stand up dude. Former USAF Vietnam Veteran and then United Airlines ticket agent.

Car wouldn't accelerate fast, but it would accelerate "powerfully". It would cruise at high speed, too.

I have seen the car at the TRR in earlier years. He did a wonderful restoration on an Exner, who was a genius, piece of art.
