belts
my problem is which store I work for a shop but we mostly have the serpentine. napas belts as of this year do not sit in the aluminum pulleys correctly even when dead tight with no movement and I tried all different tension points. the napa belts seem to be to wide I need them about a eight thinner. do you have a proven store that sells the right widths? I might have to rely on swap meets for nos belts otherwise.
NAPA belts are made by one of the major manufacturers, so they should be the same as belts you find with a name brand on the package.
If the belts really are too narrow, look at a manufacturer's site such as Gates for the dimension specs for the belts and look for one that is wider.

Try either Gates, which make Napa belts, there is a difference of design between the the two. Another to try is the Dayco Top Cog belts. I find they both stretch a ton, I need to go a size or two smaller than recommended due to stretch.
