Shoulder belts were a rare factory option in the 1966-67 model years. To install shoulder belts, you need to be sure the reinforcements are in place to attach them. The factory style belts used separate shoulder and lap belts, and the shoulder belts attached to the roof rail above the door. If the factory reinforced bolt plates are there, using them with factory style belts is the easiest, and more importantly, safest way to install belts. It's certainly possible to adapt three point belts from a newer car, but if you don't use the properly reinforced attach points, it's really not a good idea. If you plan to use inertia reel belts and attach to the factory points on the roof rails, consider belts from a full size pickup. These should be long enough to reach the roof rails. Be sure to locate the base in the same orientation as it was in the donor vehicle so the inertia reel lockup works properly.

Thanks joe
I did think of trucks but thought I could save some time by asking if anyone else has done it
I planned on making sure they are mounted on some thing solid if I have to make it that way.
