Pulling my hair out. Better start or I sell it.
Just had my 1967 442 Olds shipped from Colorado to Hunstville, AL. Met the shipper in the parking lot. He started it, backed it off the truck and shut it off so we could do the once around. No delivery issues with the car. Shipper left and I started the car right up. Drove it half mile to the house. Back it's pretty *** into the driveway so the entire neighborhood could see. Dam car won't start now. No power what so ever, none, no radio, lights, crank, dead silence when I turn the key. Took battery to Autozone, two of them for second test, opinion. Battery readout was brand new, as it is brand new. Pos and neg on battery are new and tight. both red and black cables are new and heavy duty. What in the world should I trouble shoot first? I'm guessing it could be a hundred things, please throw something at me.
I have had a bad, or loose, connection where the wiring harness under the hood plugs into the inside wiring on the firewall. Probably caused by human error, someone messed with it and didn't get it plugged in tightly. It caused the symptom you are having, nothing happens when you turn the key.
Good luck,
Good luck,
