Met Al Unser Sr today at his museum

We had a real treat today at Unser Racing Museum. The 5 visiting Canadians decided to take it in together. Very cool place. There was myself (Al), brother Steve, Terry, Tom and Devon. While wandering around we bumped into Mr Unser himself standing beside his 1970 Pace Car convertible. Apparently Devon didn't pay enough attention to Mr Unser and just focused on pictures of this 6,000 original mile car. Mr Unser wasn't impressed lol.

Doesn't get much better than visiting with a Legend, congrats.

It was a real treat to meet Mr. Unser despite Devon's bad manners! I had to keep my distance from him after that display of Oldsmobile tunnel vision in the presence of a legend.

I had to pull Devon (with camera in hand) out of the transmission tunnel by the feet before my Mr Unser noticed. 🙈

I hope security patted Devon down on the way out....he probably tried to get some rare parts for his hoard.

Are any of you guys surprised?

Looks like a great way to spend the day. Enjoy guys.

Wish I was there that's for sure! Glad you guys are enjoying your time down there. Keep those pics coming. Devon was obviously awestruck. What can you say to a legend but appreciate his car. Have fun guys!

It is nice to be able to talk to a living legend. Oh and check out his toys. You are a lucky guy.

Meeting Al Unser Sr was an honour. Seeing the 6,000 mile car he won in person was amazing. If you ever need any pics of this untouched car feel free to contact any one of us who attended. Al
