Don't think it will work, I'd do some measuring first.

Has anyone used a TPS Oldsmobile V8 Pro Series Ready to Run Distributor. It is HEI style with smaller cap.

TPS doesn't list an Oldsmobile distributor?
Any original sized distributor will work, AC Delco, MSD, etc.

You could be historically correct and stick an HEI module in a UHV remote case.

I have an HEI in an original points distributor and the module is in an original UHV box, done by Dave Ray. Works like a charm.

When the HEI first came out (1974 model year) in Olds, Mike Bernard at Olds engineering sent me two of them to "test", one for a 74 HO and the other for a 75-260. I used them on #13 with Tri-Carbs of course. A flush mounted pipe plug is needed in the rear of the base of the rear carb. I used an allen head plug after tapping the hole a bit deeper.

I thought we've covered this in the past with the op having no joy, but Brians pic looks to be a tight fit but working.
