mscofer's 69 delta 88 convertible
I don't know where the right place is to say this on the forum, so I'm starting a new thread.
Mscofer, that is a really sharp '69 delta. The red interior and white top aren't a common complement to that paint, but it really looks great! And the wheels really give it a personal and appropriately sport look. Very sharp!!
That was really worth sneaking out to get!
Of course, I have a soft spot for the big body Oldsmobiles............

I fell in love with mine. Just got a glimpse of the rear quarters and tail lights as it was parked in a grocery store lot when I was driving by. I actually actively solicited to buy the car from the owner. He was using it as a daily driver and finally relented and sold it to me. Very nice cars indeed. I probably should have never sold it.
Sharp car. I have a 69 that is blue with a black top. Haven't had the top up in 3 years! Mine has some rust and in need of new paint. As I tried to figure out whether to put the money into it I reviewed other convertibles I might want. I kept coming back to the lines of the 88. It just looks great so I am keeping it. I am not sure when I will get to the body work/paint. Lots of $$!
Glad to see another one.

It is inside the garage and I live in California so I can drive top down all the time. The new cars go in the drive way. They are disposable.
Biggest challenge with restoring it is getting down a plan, determining whereto start and money. The car runs great so i keep driving it faded paint, rust and all!

No criticism, this site is about learning. Agreed it should be up. The hydraulics have been disconnected since I bought it. I need to get in there and fix it one day. One can get it down but it takes two to put it up. Being in California I have no real need to put it up.

Never heard of Sir what's his face

I don't think anybody's made good music since Buddy Holly died
Nice car. I have a 69 olds 98 convrtible saffron yellow with white interior , seats have black piping and it has black carpet and top. I am still using spoked hubcaps though they are not what it originally had.
Would love to own a convertible but living in Washington state the top would turn green with mold and you could only have the top down 30 days a year. Weather hear sucks
. When I retire I will own one a 64 or 65
