Woodgrain dash for 1970-1972
Woodgrain dash for 1970-1972
Exactly what determines if a Cutlass had the wood grain dash or not? That has always been a mystery to me. Was is specifically ordered as an option? I have seen what appears to be equal cars but one have it and the other don't.
To answer Eric's original question, the RPO BC1 Woodgrain Vinyl Instrument Panel Trim was only standard equipment on all 1970-72 Cutlass Supreme (42xx) and Vista Cruiser (48xx) models as well as on all 1970-71 442s (44xx). It was a $10.53 option on all other models. Note that the 1972 W29 "Appearance and Handling" package did not include BC1. You had to order it separately. This is documented in the SPECS booklets for each year.
