whitch electric fuel pump

I have a 67 cutlass sup. w/330-325hp. To reduce vapor lock I want to install an electric fuel pump. The engine is pretty much stock and I plan to keep it that way. There are a ga-zillion pumps to choose from. What would be a good match up that's resonabally priced and not too loud.
Also, will I need a relay?

I run Aeromotive products and am very pleased. Specifically the SS seriers pump.
But if you want to TOTALLY eliminate vapor lock, I suggest running a return style system.
Yes it will cost more, but no more VL, and the pump will run quieter and cooler.
Also power your pump with a relay.

I have run Carter, and currently have a Holley red pump on one of my Oldsmobiles.

Carter makes reliable/less noisy electric fuel pumps. Yes, you should run it thru a relay.

I run a Holley 125, which is internally regulated, and works well with a Q-Jet.

In tank is the way to go for keeping noise down. Also generally more expensive and slightly harder to install.

I can only hear my pump running if I stick my head under the rear bumper with key on engine off.
