The Beast
Mine is 'The Beast' because when I bought it, it was totally unsafe to drive on the road, tiller steering, an unsure distributor, and the unholy growl it made when I first floored it.

'66 442 was the Batmobile

All Toronado's get called Torque a nado
'73 Ventura (green 4 door) Green Hornet

Most others are named by the year to keep them straight!

1969 98 convertible:
Beulah after my grandmother - stubborn and cantankerous, but I love her anyway
I haven't had enough time with my Cutlass Supreme or Malibu to name yet, but I am leaning toward "boar" for my Malibu since it is such a beast and "Prissy" for the Cutlass Supreme since it is fragile and needs protection

This car makes me sad. Super clean workmanship, but if this is a factory original 67 W-30 (one of 502), I have no nice words for how its been stripped of its dignity.
But something tells me its not original. I think its a 66 air cleaner.
ANYWAY, back to the topic at hand.
1972 Cutlass Supreme: "Blue"; viking blue with blue interior, white top
1972 Cutlass Supreme: "Crush" ; Orange, 455/400/posi equipped.
1971 Cutlass Supreme convertible: Was going to be Raggedy Ann... until I found out that its factory Triple White. Will be "Snow White" or maybe "Pearl" when I'm done. (Unless Disney says something about it )

A good friend of mine, has a 21,000 orignal mile, blue and white, 1959 Super 88 four door hardtop. SHe calls her car , "Emma".
My parents former black 87 trubo T-Type Regal, we simply referd to as the , "Buick", some folks called it the "GN" or "Granny"
The white(and rusty) 1973 Toroando we had from 1983-1988, was the, "TANK".
I call my red and gold 68 Toronados as "W-34" or the "68s"
My AMC Eagles, 81 SX/4(2.5 4-cylinder) and 83 Egale wagon9258 six), my parents 1980 AMC Eagle 2-door sedan plus mine 1985 and 1986 Chevy Spetums (Isuz I-Mark) I called "Sh*Tboxes"

I came home one day to open the garage and find my '69 442 gone and my wife's car in the drive I got a cold brew and waited. She pulled up with my daughter and I asked her why she took the Olds? "I like taking THE HOTROD to school, the kids love it." Couldn't blame her and the name stuck.

I was originally going to call my 442 "silver lining", but while I was working on it I heard the Grateful Dead's Touch of Grey on the radio. When I heard the line about every silver lining's got a touch of grey, well it just seemed right.
So now the 442 is "A Touch of Grey"
The '67 Delmont has always been "Big Red" for obvious reason.
