I haven't had her long and she's just 10 years younger than me. So her name is Baby. All the doctors for the longest time couldn't get my bank account fertile enough to birth her. But she's here now and I've got lots of time to make her sparkle.

I don't believe that all cars are female, and my 83 Regency definitely proves that. It think it conveys the persona of a older, but well preserved, yet slightly grumpy east coast man. So I call it Morty.

names that stick

When I bought my '73 GMC motorhome it had a plate frame on it that said "the blue balooga". When I picked it up, the frame was gone. It was too late. The name stuck. Everybody calls it the balooga. The Toro is just that and the vista cruiser is the cruiser.

After I got my gold 69 cutlass running my wife asked me to run to the store and pick some things up for dinner. I asked my 3yo son if he wanted to go with me and he said "are we giong to take Old Gold?"

Old Gold ..... hmmmm......I think that name is going to stick

OLD

I figured that I grew out of naming cars names but my girlfriend named mine Tweety bird and her daugter calls it banana boat. currently i call it the PITT or much worse as the closer I get to finishing it the harder it seems to get. I will have to give it a proper name when i am done

I've got another one

I had a '93 Buick Century wagon a couple of years ago. My niece was moving to New York and sold her car. I loaned her the Buick for until she moved. I got the car back with the title of "Beastie the poon wagon". I wondered who was pooning who.

I once said I was going for a ride and was backing my gold 442 out of the garage when my wife said, "Who is she Jim?" "What's her name?" I thought sheeit, I have never cheated on this fine woman. Then I realised she was ribbing me about my love of my 442.

I give all of my cars "stereotypical old woman" names. My 72 cutlass is named Mona, my 92 Subaru SVX is called Lorraine, The 92 Volvo I used to have was called Edna. Mona is a name my girlfriend gave the car, and it just stuck. For some reason after that I decided to stick with the stereotypical old lady names.

My cars name is Uncle Pete. He is my friends uncle and used to deliver these cars when they were new! He more than likely delivered my car to Gardner Olds in Binghamton NY! He also got to drive it in our homecoming parade, boy did that make his day!

My 65 Cutlass convertible is Geraldine, after my grandmother I never met. Turns out my wifes grandmother had the same name. When my wife and I had just started dating , she was leaving town for the weekend, and asked what I was going to do. I told her I was going to spend time with my other girl. She didn't know about Geraldine yet. She laughs about it now, but didn't think it was comical then.

IDAS 69

Original owner was Ida Matthews. Tracked her down for the bill of sale. Have talked with her. Told her I was going to customize tag to read " IDAS 69". She was thrilled..........

my first car, a 68 4dr cutlass ... I called the WAVE. I was 16, it was HUGE to me .. and i would roll in & outta town like a wave. or I'd be making a splash! I guess I was inspired by the B52's song "Love Shack" he sings .. "I got me a car, it's a big as a whale & it's about to set sail" ... well, i didn't want to drive a whale, so I named'er the Wave.

my alero, I call "LarrOH" I WAS calling it Larry, but changed my mind. and when I see 4 dr Aleros I call them "Lawrence".

I call my convertible SMR TOI (that's my licence plate .. can U figure out what that means??)

HYE NRG (another plate of mine) is another name for my ride!

Well got the 48 named anyway. My wife calls it the Okey hunk of junk car. The Okey car will be its name (guess what state I picked it up in).

Been waiting to name the 57. The best I can think of is "Suprise" thats the look on everyones face when I light off the 500 hp 462 cu under the hood. Can anybody suggest a better name for the 57? I would like to hear some ideas
