My '86 Olds 442 is: Tha Fo Fo Two wit tha DUAL exhaust, but you have to say it like Too Short does. Long story short, I used to play basketball year-round when I was younger, the guys I played with listened to Too Short and in one of the songs, I happened to catch him sayin something about rollin in his Fo Fo Two wit tha DUAL exhaust, so now all my friends pretty much call it that. We have a pretty good time with it.
My '01 Focus ZTS is: Focus, Heart, Determination... When I coached basketball, always think about the next practice driving the car and of course everytime Focus, Heart, Determination is something I lived by on the court so it stuck with the players and my friends call it the FHD for short.
My '08 Grabber Orange Mustang GT Premium is: The Beast... I got it last May, went to King's Island right afterward and when riding the roller coaster called The Beast, it felt just like a ride in what is now known as The Beast of a car.
My dad had an old white Ford Granada named: The Bomb... self-explanatory, but worth noting that whenever my dog got loose and roamed the neighborhood, all we had to do was start it up and drive to the end of the street and ol' Deputy Dawg would come sprinting and hop in to go for a ride. I don't know why that dog loved that car so much. Wouldn't come to any other car.
He also had an '87 Jeep Cherokee Chief: Old Faithful, well over 300,000 miles most of it on a mail route with my mom.

i always named every car my family has ever had, all because of Herbie. when i was a tiny tot, my mom brought home the original The Love Bug movie, and ive been a huge Herbie fan ever since. so my '71 98 is Lyle, named after his original owner.
we bought him in Kentucky, so my Dad and i tried to come up with a good southern name for him, and when we found out what the original owner's name was, it felt right. the guy we bought it from was one of the original owner's good friends, and his name was "Burl," which is about as southern as it gets, but my Dad and i thought that would be over doing it a bit! lol

I could actually make up a dictionary like that if I had the time.
That shifter indicator linkage would be named "Satan's revenge"...

I have a 1970 SX that is far from restored that my wife sarcastically calls “Jewel” since it is so pretty sitting in our driveway.
I call it the “Buck-toothed Bully” because every time I am working under the hood that little tooth attached to the hood reaches down and smacks me in the head at one point or another.

I have 5 engines for my 65 (which I call my 65...), but 2 of the engines have names. 1 is a 350DX block I call BAM BAM. Another is a 403 I call Wilbur. I have yet to name the other 3 (gas 350, 425-I am leaning toward Thomas for this one, and an 12.0:1 455 that ought to be called Rumplestilskin).

Be glad you don't own a 68!

My black '99 Intrigue is known as the "Bat Cruiser." Down in Texas, our official state flying mammal is the Mexican Freetail Bat, and back in 2000, the Intrigue was shown at our annual Bat Festival; it was the first thing you could see when you came in to attend the festival. Though we live in Minnesota now, which is an Oldsmobile loyalty state, the "Bat Cruiser" name still stands. -- Gus Edwards/Cheryl B. Montoya (dual personality)

My wife once referred to the car as Christine. In the 80's I had the car paked in the parking lot of a city park. It was a Friday and someone backed into the 442's front bumper on the left side. I took the car in on Monday to get an estimate. I went in told the guy the story and another guy went out. He came in and asked, "On this Cutlass...? I said yes and he went out again. He came back in and said "Where's the damage again?"
At this point I'm thinking is this guy blind?. I wentout to show him and there was no damage. I had seen that bumper pushed under the header panel...but not now. Christine.....

The last Olds before my 71 cutlass supreme was a 91 olds 98 elite that hauled the kids for a 100k mile plus. They called it the old-peoplemobile, after hitting a deer and putting speed tape on it to hold the headlight in they called it the BEASTROUS!

My 04 Dodge Ram is called Malice.
My 91 Honda Civic is aptly named Speedbump (cause that's all he'd be to anything bigger)
Don't know what to call the 442 yet. Heck, most people can't even figure out its REAL name. It gets called "the 422", the "4-42", the "Chevy?", or the "beast". Oh, and "paperweight".
