What shop light do you use?

What light do you use when working on your Olds? I had a HF shop light that broke pretty quickly and the Husky one I have is a POS. The hook broke the first time I used it and the magnets are only strong enough that it falls off the underside of the hood every 10 minutes.

I use something similar to this with an LED bulb. Not overly complicated and works well.

I think the type you use with LED bulbs, flood the work area well.

I have several of these and love them......they charge quickly with a rapid charger and last awhile. Light is super bright.

Ive got a couple different lights, corded, rechargable theyre all ok.

my goto is two rechargable headlamps, i used to have the aa battery style hedlamp, but batts last 15 hours and battery leaking were issues.

i picked up some rechargable ones and theyre lighter, and have a good run time 15-20hrs before recharge, with two of them ones always GTG.

the best part hands free no futzing w the light once its adjusted …where your looking is where the light is shining, these work great and are really bright…..ill post a link later

I have the Ryobi One 18 volt LED, just picked it up, very bright and multi directional. I also just bought the 650 ft/lbs 18 volt impact.

Same here. I bought an an all-plastic version of that 20 years ago. It has a 20 ft cord and I use it with a 100 W LED lamp. It lights an entire area, no need to aim it.

It still works well, and it has a 120 V outlet in the handle for a soldering iron or whatever.

Bayco brand works. Look for cordless rechargeable to keep the floors clear of trip hazards.

I've gone the Milwaukee route with a lot of my tools, M18 and M12. My daughters got me this M18 worklight for Christmas and I've been putting it to a lot of use and really like it. It has 3 brightness settings (and bright is BRIGHT). The light can be adjusted from 360 degree flood down to 180 degree which is where I usually have it.

I’m using this ATD 80357 Saber under hood light. It’s big, bright and well built. Cordless works for quite a long time. The cord is really long too so easy enough to just keep it plugged in. Wide enough to hang on hood or even the roof if your working on the interior.
