Thanks. I went crazy looking for a auto spray paint company who can make the right mixture for my Sherwood Green. I tried 66 Auto Color, Paint Scratch and Express Paint. So far Express Paint is almost close but no cigars. I missed Tower Paint because they made the perfect match for my paint but unfortunately that company was bought out by someone else. Does anybody out there knows a good company that makes out from a spray can? Please share. Thanks.
You know what you could do if you can't find a match and really want one you could go to an automotive paint store if you have one in your area and have them mix a pint in either single stage acrylic enamel if you want to be the most like a paint can and put it in one of these or you could do base clear in these too since it comes with 2
You would have too Google the Sherwood green paint code and give it to them I think the code is ppg 48 sherwood green poly
Drag Week things. Made the 750 miles out, got registered, and knocked off a couple 12.0/117s. Still working on clutch release, but dropping the tire pressure was huge.

Drug it home. DNF for Drag Week 2021....
Starting line confusion on both the track and my parts. Grenaded reverse on the starting line. Watch the day 3 coverage; you'll see .
I just received my new ceramic coated headers today for my '75 Delta 350 convertible.
Supposed to get my engine back tomorrow after seven months. Crossing fingers 🤞

Man, life is short; make it happen. I found some weak points (28 spline Truetrac and axles), but got some new PBs: 1.81 60', 12.07@116. The comraderie of the Drag Week fam can't be beat. 341 started; 292 finished. You need to be 10.0 or quicker to get a top 3 in almost every class, but the whole experience is leaps and bounds beyond description. It's the worst time you can't wait to do again. Now that I got registered, I'll definitely be going again.
I Installed some new belltech rear shocks In my car today now I just need to take-er for a drive tomorrow. And I also replaced the front shock and sway bar bushings since they were almost gone
Found out my axle bearing are toast and wiped out my axle as well.
Pulled one out of the parts car.
Bearings are being pressed on.
Also changed the axle seal.

On the 75 Hurst I changed the oil and filter, changed the front brake pads and replaced the carb base gasket. The pads weren't really bad but they squeaked like crazy so I bought some super duper ones from RockAuto that aren't supposed to squeak.
On the top of the screen there's a bar that starts with https:// than it says whatever website you're on, and you can just copy and paste what's written in the bar, aka the link https://classicoldsmobile.com/forums...a-88-a-159155/ here's the link, I'll be watching!
Now that's exciting!! Reminds me of when I was in HS (71) and started up a car with no exhaust system in the garage at 2am. Mom was not to happy. We just had to hear it run. The neighbors thought I was crazy and must have felt sorry for my folks or wondered what they did wrong.
A very nice day today to install the kick panels speakers and the dash speakers that I bought from The Parts Place for my 70 cutlass convertible. Sounds crisp. Now I need a chiropractor
This was one of those Bucket List moments for me. Cruised 5 hrs across central Wisconsin in a '55 C**** (Wegner 6.2 w/ Tremec) with our wives. What a hoot! There were some very nice Oldsmobiles. @ 10,000 cars. 1963 F85 Cutlass 215 ci still going strong!
Though I know an El Camino is not even a cousin to Oldsmobiles, it does have the heart of an Olds in the transplanted W-31 engine and will eventually get the twin bell tips on the exhaust so it sounds right too. What I did was get my seats and console installed and operating. I only have to get the cable hooked up to the transmission and it is completely done. While I am under I will give it a once over. So all in all it took 4 fullish days to get the bench seat and carpet out and remove the insulation, then reinstall new insulation and measure for the console and shifter holes, modify the mounts so the seats fit, and wire the drivers seat for power. If I were a welder it may have been a day shorter. Here are the pics. When I bought this El Camino it was dull oxidized white with the saddle brown interior and a damn Buick 3.8 v6.. I hope soon to get it out of the garage and into the muffler shop for some custom work and then it is back on the swapmeet circuits.

You may want to check out the "Street Machine Nationals" in St. Paul July 15-17. It will be smaller, maybe only 7,000 cars, but it covers all years. All the muscle cars will be there.
I'll bet you didn't see all the cars when you were there for "Back to the 50's".
Were planning a group ride but unsure if it will actually happen. We were at the CC nats in '09 and '11 at St. Paul, as well as the '15 show in Milwaukee.
Yeah, I know we missed some of the cars at Btt50's. My '70 S. Owned since 1979. Sons '71 S.
