what is a 1971 W30 worth

I have a buddy who has a numbers matching 71 W30 whose cousin bought it new so he has all the paper work and knows the history of the car. He ordered it with options such as Ac , 455 with auto trans , posi tinted windows etc but no tach or commen sense options now. Car is silver with black stripes and was repainted years ago but body and interior are in great shape and drives great the only thing missing is the ac compressor ( no idea why cousin took it off) I know no one can really give me a accurate answer but any ballpark answer would work for me.

pictures would help, if its a hard top and solid, has the correct carb, distributor, heads, read inner fender wells and trans along with a matching nubers engine it could be worth a decent amount but without knowing condition and what it has or is really missing tough to say. Sounds like a decent car could be a 15k car easily.

The only thing that is missing on the car is the ac compressor no cracks or tears in the interior no dents or rust and completely numbers matching eng, trans rear all sheet metal and even have the order form he used when buying the car.

You buying or help selling? A member on here just sold a non numbers car missing heads and re painted for 25,000 that said if you have matching numbers and is in good running shape with Some doc's I would think that car should go 30,000 or above if marketed right .

He thought about selling it but I am trying to talk im out of it The car could go to a show the way it is truthfully only needs a good cleaning and things like new shocks or normal undercarriage worn parts. I am a chevelle guy obviously but the more i look into the 442 w30 I am gaining respect for them more. In my eyes Gm cars are all brothers from different mothers so we family.

that's a keeper easily a 25k car, I would think especially with documentation - parts alone are worth a lot on the W30s. Post more pics.
