Pat stopped by today to visit. What a pleasant surprise, he is a few days ahead of schedule and is making good time. He rolled up in the rental van and trailer with his new '47 on the back. What a find! That car is in very good shape and has lots of potential. Pat, it was good to visit with you and sorry we couldn't spend more time together. I owe you a beer. Have a safe trip.

Couldn't get pictures together as your dad's starter stopped working. He does have pictures of myself and my wife Jane sitting behind the wheel of his car. He also took pictures more pictures of my Olds. We had a great but short visit. When I have the 48 completed i am going to tow it behind my motor home and come back through and visit you guys and stay longer

 

The pictures were terribly washed out as it was a cloudy day and I am a poor photographer. Here are the others, I had to shrink them to upload them and missed the one with Pat in the driver's seat. Will try to correct that one.

 

One more for you all. I can't find the one with Pat in driver's seat of my car. Sure I took it but can't find it . Well, here is the last one.
You can see slight variations between the year models clearly with my avatar next to this one. Differences in the hood badge and the ornament mostlyl.

We had a great visit with you. Jane says she is going to get even with you for posting her picture. I think you did a great job. Next time we will set the two Olds side by side and take the pictures together
