Vavle rotater info??

Vavle rotater info??

can some one post up some photos of the valve rotators Olds use . I have a set of 70 E heads and both sets of vales look the same the only difference in the retainers I can see from my D heads is a the portion seems to sit down on the valve about 3/8 of a inch . I will add photos if I can get them to upload.

so I have read that the Exhaust valves have rotators mine look to be the same on each head could not get a good angle and but the only thing I see different than the D head is a portion of the retainer sits over the valve stem and down in the spring Thanks

On these heads, the intakes have rotators, the exhausts do not:

Both of those valves have rotators.

That's what I was thinking. I know it's a toro 455 that they came off of I wonder what's the rule for single vs dual rotators ?

Depends on what your plans are for the heads.
If you are looking for performance, change to the ones like on your "D" heads along with the valve springs.

If just a daily driver, street cruiser , use what is there and run it.

Trying to learn more about how stuff works. I picked the engine up it was locked up from sitting . Tore it down time to find a machine shop
