thanks for posting this, it looks great. i have a car that i am thinking about trying this on. what glue did you use?

 

Thanks Eric-It was a contact glue sprayed on with a pressure pot set up. I'll ask tomorrow the exact type of glue and send you a picture of his set up.

Weldwood contact adhesive-landau top and trim HHR solvent type spray grade (whew!)

 

Pretty soon you'll need to post a new avatar. That just doesn't look like the same car anymore. I've enjoyed watching it transform through our correspondence.

Just out of curiosity, why do you have to rough up the roof of the car to put on the vinyl? Is it something to do with glue adhesion?

 

I just love watching great stuff come to life. Great job...
