Took A Little Drive...

Took the Old's on a 500+ mile drive up the Cali coast for our 25 year wedding anniversary. We had a fantastic trip! What a great car... comfortable, plenty of power, never missed a beat. Averaged 16mpg! (low 14.4 / high17.7). I guess my work over the past year has payed off... I think I can consider her "road worthy" now!

Congratulations on 2 accounts!
Happy 25th to you and the Mrs. That's an achievement that lots of folks don't get to in today's world. I'm working on 20 this Sept.

Your 67 is now celebrating its 45th anniversary! And with style/grace. Many reasons to still say Life Is Good!

So close to the ocean, and no wet T shirt contest????

Yeah, but compared to the weather we get up here? You have incredible scenery and greenery. We still have white bunny rabbits running around...and it rained all last night then snowed this morning.... Up here we call temps above 6° shirtsleeve weather. Course 6° C is the same as about 42 F.

Looks a bit like Mendocino, CA?

The last trip we took out that way was 2008, I think I need another trip.

Dang - I really miss the west coast now!
I have thousands of pictures similar to those but still cannot get enough of it.
That is the kind of trips I would like to take, so it reinforces my desire to move that way in 10 more years. I will at least vacation there again some time this year...
Glad you had a good time - congrats on the anniversary!

Not yet. I have the eBay window motors waiting in the garage. I decided to wait and replace the carpet at the same time... while I have the back seat out. Hoping to get it done in the next month or so, to be ready for summer!

Yep, Mendocino... about as good as it gets without getting on an airplane, IMO.

Soon! And it's just one, the right/rear... and it always goes down... I just never know how long it will take to get it back up, lol. I'll save the other motor as a spare, I'm sure I'll need it eventually!
