Welcome to the site. Yes we do like pictures.

On your speedo, did you check the cable from the transmission?

The connections are good on the cable a bit more info I guess is that neither the needle on speedometer or the odometer mileage move at all as in i can go put 1000 miles on it right now and it still will not show a difference. Is the unit bad or is there some other underlying problem.

The cable can snap internally, the outside sheath will show no damage. You can disconnect the cable from the trans and from the speedo and see if the inside paice has snapped.

You can disconnect it from the trans and hook a drill to it. Then watch your speedometer to see if it moves.

Cable failure is more likely. Remove the lower end and spin it while someone watches for speedo activity in the dash. Of course, if you can pull the center core right out the bottom, and it's frayed and broken, there's your problem. Plastic gear in the trans can be worn also

Speedo works, after hooking a drill up to the cable it worked so now to the plastic gear in the transmission, which either way it was going to get changed due to going to 3.73 rear end gears
