Well, took the '72 cutty home

Well i got my rust bucket '72 Cutlass S home today... It's a lot worse than i thought. the rear quarters are rotted, and the rear fascia (around the rear bumper area) is rotted. On the other hand the 350 runs great and the tranny shifts beautifully! I've come to terms that this is a parts car. hopefully i can find a good '68-'72 cutlass body. if not , it'll be up for sale..

Unfortunately, they usually are.

Rust is very rarely isolated, and if the pinchweld or roof has rust holes, water has run down into the lower parts of the car.
