Summit 69 fuel line not even close

Paid $16.95 plus $4.95 shipping for a pre bent fuel line for my 350 69 cutlass. Double checked it twice to make sure my order was correct before punching it in. I got it today and it was obvious it was way off from being correct. it was not even close. I called summit tech support and he said I got the correct part. I told him it was not even close to fitting. He gave me the telephone number of the factory to call them. what! I bought this from you, you call the factory. His solution was for me to send in my old one to the factory so they could custom bend me one . I would pay shipping both ways plus the cost on the part. after calling customer service they agreed to give me my $16.95 back. I'm still out the cost of the shipping however.. Be warned

You don't have a different intake manifold or an extra thick carb spacer? When I put an Edelbrock performer intake on mine I needed to get a fuel line custom made to fit.

I bent it and double flared it myself. It fits perfect. Total cost me about $3.

Invest in a bending tool and a flare tool. Use a piece of bent wire as a template. You'll never have to deal with crappy suppliers again.

That's a bummer that you had a bad experience with Summit. They've always had good customer service for me. I did have to return a leaky oil pan to them though. I bought the Moroso deep pan for my 455 and it leaked oil while the engine was on the stand. They made it right though.
