Suggestions on PEST proofing a car in storage

I thought I had a nice clean, dry secure place for my car. However, I now know it will be dry and that is it. Do any of you have suggestuions on keeping pest out of the interior and engine conpartment during the long winter?

Moth ***** for most insects, hedge apples for spiders (but don't put them IN the car, maybe just under it on the ground maybe on a piece of wood), not sure what keeps rodents away.

Hello!
I stored an 85 Thunderbird for 4 years and all I did was put moth ***** on some tin foil on the floor boards, pulled the wheels and tires and blocked it, drained the gas and fogged the cylinders. when I got back 4 years later, put the tires back on it and put gas in it and she's been purring ever since! no bugs, no ants, notta. not sure if I just got lucky or what... gl.

Don't put rat poison in it. The previous owner did that to my 64 98 and I found a few dead rats in the interior.

I used to use moth ***** against the rodents. Then I found out that while mice don't like moth *****, they do not repel them. I was told that the little mickeys tend to move the moth ***** then urinate where the moth ***** were placed.
I have sine switched to BOUNCE sheets and have not had a problen since. And the vehicles smell better in the spring to boot.

Bounce [what your wife puts in the drier] under seats, in glove box, under spare in trunk. About a box of Bounce per car,

The critters also love the intake manifold for some reason [next to the carb]

And wiring is on their daily diet.

Fuel stabalizer in gas tank if you don't drain.

If you put it in a concret gagage put plastic under it as a vapor barrier.
