sound proofing rubber
I ordered a 2X25 foot roll of this. I first saw it on a youtube video some guy using it in his ? vehicle.
It looks pretty good and its cheap. Im looking into some type of heavy foil to put on top for heat insulation as well. Looks like Grainger might have that pretty cheap too. Check it out see what you think. The sound proofing is at
Audimutesoundsolutions.com, let me know what you think

I used two different types of insulation in my car, MegaMat and EZCool.
I used EZCool insulation (non Sticky).
It costs aprox $40 for 40 SQFT.
I then use Foil tape to hold it down on the floors and vertical surfaces.
In the car doors used Mega-Mat (sticky version) and EZcool inside the doors.
The car is real quite now.
