my 2 cents

I run stabil thru every fall. Sometimes it can be 5-7 months before I start the car again. Never had a problem.

No matter how long it lasts, it's still better than nothing. Best way is to put it in right before you fill up, to mix it better, and then drive it home, so it works it's way through the lines and carb.

There are two different StaBil's........one reddish, the other blueish. The blue ios a Marine additive - I use it as it is not only supposed to stabalize the gasoline over the winter time, but counter the effects of Ethanol additive(s) in the gasoline. Never had a problem with start-up.

The marine Stabil is the one you want. It not only helps prevent the gas from going bad, it reduces the amount of moisture the ethanol can absorb in a vented fuel system, such as is in our old rides.

Does the red not reduce moisture absorption at all? I have been under the impression that the red did this to a certain extent too, and that the blue was just a stronger concentration? I've only used red and I haven't had problems. If blue is just stronger, I'd probably go with this.
